One cup after 2pm and I am jangled all night. Been on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week for months on end for the last 17 years. Before that working up to 3 different jobs a day I think 109.5 hours on the clock was my longest week. There is always folks who have worked harder and longer than I have. The herd is pretty thin with them hours.

Good morning, all. Starting my day a little late, with Haunted Bookshop in a MM Washington 55th Ave. Nothing much on the docket, a meeting with the fella who's taking over my workload in 15 minutes, and a meeting with my Sr. Manager this afternoon to wrap up my career. Beginning tomorrow, on vacation until I retire on July 1. Congrats sir! Thank you!

Spent some of the afternoon outdoors taking in the summery weather and enjoying Pegasus, Six Pence and Riverboat Gambler. Went to the grocery store with my wife to get things for dinner, took a nap and made dinner. Snuck in some more Pegasus between those tasks. Now smoking a little more Pegasus in a MM Washington 5th Ave. Gonna rub out some flake for the next smoke.

Good morning. Smoking a Willmer, half-filled with Astley's No. 44. Sipping coffee and waiting for the cinnamon rolls in the oven to brown....... That is a very striking pipe!

Good morning It's going to be a busy day of finishing off the last Bradford pear tree. Balkan Sobranie 759 in the Icarus. Coffee, of course, in my typical hamartological manner: hot as Hell, black as sin, strong as death, and bitter as iniquity.
