may 24th. Today was warmer and a lot more humid. A quick bowl of adagio in the square savi and later I had a nice cigar. I find the carribean leaf tubes do well in certain conditions. in a somewhat intriguing juxaposition, those conditions strain a pipe. The flavor of a cigar is at a peak on days like today so I had a nice beunaventura crema. As the sun sets and temps are perfect a bowl of union square is burning in the ebony pete 107 spigot as I type this post reminding me that while the cigar was at its best in flavor the pipe is far better. The cigar is fun to party with. Sitting around, having fun. A drink in hand while enjoying a stogie on a warm humid day but the pipe has a personal enjoyment cigars just do not posess. Maybe it is the feel of the wood, the craftsman's marks upon the surface, when a cigar is finished there is a nub and some ash. Maybe it is simply there are no cigars with as much flavor. anyhoo, Hope you all have a great week

You're a man who smokes late into the night. I suppose I might be if I could smoke indoors. What's stopping you?

May 25th. A few times a month I take the bride to work. Morning was adagio in the gbd 256 canadian. filled a bowl of castello sea rock for the ride back in the square savinelli 515. great aromatic blend and I am not an aromatic smoker.. the castello sea rock blend (made by c&d) has a nice rich profile after mid bowl. so many aro blends die a horrible mixed flavor death after the topping has burned off bit this blend has a nice core to fall back on. Then later a nice rested bowl of union square in the pete newgrange x105 spigot. hope you all are well.
