As my rotation gets built back up, I find myself getting lazy about cleaning. I'm up to 8 cobs, 10 briars, and a morta, with 2 briars en route. I have developed bad habit of smoking them, dumping the ashes (most of the time) and setting the dirty pipes on an end table in my bedroom. Then I clean the whole pile during the weekend.
Anyways, 2015 Sixpence in Pony Express for now.

The thing that keeps me at least a little bit honest about that is I don't enjoy the last-night's-fire-pit smell a recently smoked pipe tends to donate to the room. I don't get crazy or anything, but give 'em a good knock and a couple of pipe cleaners.

You're a man who smokes late into the night. I suppose I might be if I could smoke indoors.

hope all had a fine weekend. In from full 2-miles power walks, no-band 6x42 for company. After the Ed is fed, Abingdon in old SamMartin freehand & continue with the papers. As is "normal" around here, what happens thruout the day depends on wifie's needs which can be many at times. Am hoping to be able eventually to sit out on back porch with maybe a Quroum cigar & some misc. reading
50, clear at present

2015 GH&Co. Grasmere Flake in a Stanwell Brushed Brown 139. With approximately 6 years of age on it, the rose geranium topping has subsided a tad, but the sweetness of the Virginia’s has taken a lead over the topping. Supporting underneath is the toasty, nutty Burley. While the topping still sublimates the tobaccos somewhat, the VaBur combo shines through, making this a delightful smoke. I enjoyed the topping while it was younger, but a little age has only improved this blend IMHO.
