Had some Watch City Cigar Nor'Easter in my Asykian Bent Egg. I think if I could only have the blends of one person for the rest of my life, I would probably pick Ernie Q at WCC.

This is an excellent word. I'm going to steal it. Had some Maltese Falcon in this here wee Nording: I hope you don't need to use it often! GH Kendal Mixed in a Legend.

50/50 blend of C&D Byzantium/ Sutliff 526 "Old Professor" in the sandblasted Icarus. All. Day. Long. You found your tobacco groove darn quickly. I think I did. I found out pretty quickly that I do not like Burley, but there's something about Latakia that sends me over the moon. If that Newminster 52 Ultimate English that terrapinflyer sent me was still on the market, I'd be storing pounds of it. As it is, the Scotty's University Professor, C&D Byzantium, and Sutliff 526 fill the gap quite nicely. The 526 Old Professor has this amazing, deep molasses smell, and is a little sweeter than the Scotty's U.P. My only complaint with it so far is that it's extremely wet. Mixing it with other tobaccos helps, but I have to spread it out in the sun for an hour to dry it enough to smoke by itself. I usually put about 2oz of tobacco in a wide mouthed pint jar, which should yield 8 jars per pound. The Old Professor barely filled 5 jars. After reading some threads on storing wet tobacco, the entire pound is now drying outside. I hope this does the trick, because I'm planning on buying another pound of it!

Smoked some HH-ODF in a MM Washington 5th Ave. while jarring up some Haunted Bookshop for the cellar. Then, Redburn in the same cob, while wandering around the yard after the rain stopped. Now, its Bayou Morning in the Bing's Favorite Pony. Headed back outside.

Broke out an oldie but a goodie this morning -- a pipe I purchased better than 40 years ago from Straus Tobacconist on Walnut Street in Cincinnati, a place I used to visit frequently at one time operated by a friend of mine. The only markings are Straus in script, with Handmade underneath and at the bottom it says Israel. Loaded it up with Match MM 965 and it was terrific. Don't know much about the pipe -- don't know who was making them for the shop back then -- but it proved terrific.
