I figured you would after knowing that you like the Peach Cobbler and Vanilla Custard. Cheers….. still working on my thoughts on Creme Brulee and Vanilla Custard, but I'll be keeping the Peach Cobbler around! I've got some Peach Cobbler, but haven't tried it. Scotty's Peachtree Street is great. When it comes to Crème Brulee and Vanilla Custard, I prefer Crème Brulee. It has a nice combination of honey and caramel flavors.

I'll have to try some the Scotty's, the Cobbler has sunk it's claws in me ;-). I would agree on the Creme Brulee vs Vanilla Custard so far. I pick up a lot more flavor notes from the CB, at least so far.
Is your Hobbit's weed DIY? Or no?

What I call my Hobbit's Weed Black is my own concoction. It's a black raspberry version of Hobbit's Weed. Worked on it for a while before getting it exactly right, but when I did, it was great! Then I found out that one of the components (Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish) is no longer available due to some federal regulations. I have about 4oz of it left, which I will use in this mixture. Maybe I can pick up some from a forum member under that "get rid of your bad tobacco" thread. Probably not. It's great by itself. Recipe: 2oz/4oz 40% Wilke Black Raspberry (23g/46g) 30% Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish (17g/34g) <==== Now unavailable 30% Lane BCA (17g/34g) The Hobbit's Weed Match that I smoke is available at 4Noggins.com.

I made up a couple of batches: 50% BCA 25% 1M 25% Very Cherry in one, 25% Peach Cobbler in the other.
Online most said let them 'meld' for about 2 months before smoking....
Hate to hear that our friends, the government, killed your Vanilla Black Cavendish

After I mix it, I put it in a ziplock back, roll it up and wrap rubber bands around it. I waited 5 weeks on the first batch. Worked great. Second batch, 24 days. Probably wasn't long enough. Third batch was mixed up May 17 and is still melding. I'd guess 5 or 6 weeks minimum. At a couple months, it's probably as "melded" as it's going to get.

Storm Front in Tankard ,marked Made in London England...this may well be the best cigar leaf blend I've had; it's easy going and naturally sweet. I can't wait to try this with a strong morning coffee!

There was always lots of posts about his blends but somehow they all went by me. Like you, John was a big fan of cobs. He had started with cobs at age fourteen, and always said " dry your tobacco more than you think you should and pack it loser than you think you should" I remember he also said his Father told him the false-lite was a plot by the match companies to double their match sales

I'm going to have a few quiet days here this week to play in my backyard. My back and shoulders will appreciate the rest. If I get bored, I might stain and poly a couple new cobs and add them to the roster.

July 19th. the days have been cooler after the rains left so it has been good for pipes. star of the east in the freehand Charatan's make. The sharp angle of the taper is where I think the magic happens to the oriental blends with this pipe. Every bowl is filled with flavor that I find delightful. My restock order is being picked up tomorrow with C&D Cairo blend. it is another tester as I have not had any yet so guess which pipe is getting filled first... the rest has been triple play and five o clock shadow in a few of my "work" pipes. with my current rack there is the ability to save the better pipes for special moments and both those blends in the pete 107 ebony spigot are perfect for a long sit under the canopy. anyhoo, no headway on the online pics saga. I just do not have the google or anything else online and am not likely to either as we just keep off the internet and away from 3rd party apps, servers, etc. so while I can slip here and post some words, the rest needed to fully post pics seems elusive.

still working on my thoughts on Creme Brulee and Vanilla Custard, but I'll be keeping the Peach Cobbler around! I've got some Peach Cobbler, but haven't tried it. Scotty's Peachtree Street is great. When it comes to Crème Brulee and Vanilla Custard, I prefer Crème Brulee. It has a nice combination of honey and caramel flavors. In that case give Molto Dolce a try Monty. It has the honey and caramel that you like with vanilla. I call it my aro tobacco on crack.

East India Trading Co. Cellar reserve in the Peterson. This is a fun little aromatic with a lot of flavor. I have to pack it the night before to let it air out a bit. It is a little goopy and wet so it may require more relights. It’s definitely not one I would smoke everyday but I pull it out from time to time when I want a little change up in routine.
