I've mostly been favoring lat heavy and Va/per blends, but am working my way into trying some burley blends with some C&D Haunted Bookshop today. Smoking in a MM cob.

Indeed, I love burley, but Haunted Bookshop didn't ring any of my bells. I really wanted to like it, so many do, and the name alone calls to a pipe smoker, but even in a cob ,it just never stuck...everybody's different.

Doggone it John.
I think you are a pipe museum curator sneaking pipes out daily to smoke. There simply is no other explanation, I am sic’ ing the pipe police onto you.

Thanks.
I intend to try a few other blends. My initial impressions of Haunted Bookshop after only a few bowls are positive. It is milder than I expected, and seems to take a few minutes of smoking for the flavors to develop. When they do they are enjoyable, but don't really jump out and wow me. I keep feeling that there is something missing that would make it stand out, but can't quite put my finger on it.

Well… I did buy this one at Paul's Pipe Shop which is just a stairway away from Paul's Pipe Museum where I am an authorized escort to accompany visitors in the museum. Unfortunately, unaccompanied visitors are no longer allowed in the museum, but that rule had nothing to do with me… 🤫🤪😂
