Our local grocery store was just voted the best sushi in Cass County. It looks pretty. But how many sushi places are there in Cass County? 😁 I am not the expert, as I haven't gone looking. I assume that the 2 Chinese restaurants probably have sushi. But we don't eat at those because they aren't very good. So, 1 that I know of. People who eat sushi do say that it's very good though. |

I don't eat raw fish. Some of it is cooked I understand, but I don't know which and the chefs don't speak English. Plus, the cooked is handed with the raw. Non kosher! 😁 Typically, the menu will indicate which have raw fish and which don't, but if you're concerned, the deep fried rolls are safe for sure. |

Sorry, I lost my imagination years ago... Kind of like Peter Pan's shadow that Wendy mended .. Trouble is I have no Wendy.... However, I do have a Ms Lovett.... Last time I visited her, she was working at an establishment in an area similar to the one described by our thread master... It was a nice place....rather dark and mysterious.... With an old school pipe shop, barber shop and butcher/meat market next door to each other.... When I go there the first place I visit is the old pipe shop. On my last journey, I picked up a Dracula Peterson, www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/peterson/index.cfm?tag=1548and some Blood Red Moon pipe tobacco, www.pipesandcigars.com/mobile/p/cult-blood-red-moon-pipe-tobacco/1478834/... Seeing that I needed a haircut I mosied on over to Todd's barber shop and received a really nice hair cut with one of the closest shaves I ever had... My face felt like a baby's bottom..... Nice thing about Old Todd is he thinks well of pipers and allows you to puff away while he works at his craft...,...loves the smell... Afterwards the best treat of all awaits.... Ms Lovett's meat pies.... Courtesy of the meat market.... where I will say, outside of the occasional tough and gamey meats, the greater variety of shop cuts have the most incredible marbled patterns... The taste is truly unique and simply sublime..... Ms Lovett claims she has secret access to some of the fattest meats on the market... She claims American meats are much more marbled than what she was used to in Europe and there are no supply issues.... Well one of these days I hope to get back there... I believe this. the imagination is a muscle, if you arent exercising it, it will struggle. There have been studies shown that even just the use of GPS has weakened peoples memory on average. Its good to take technology breaks, just a break from the blue light alone is calming. |

His services are quick and excellent...... The area also features a Lovecraft museum in a town a few miles over called "Pearl", taken from an old serial called the String of Pearls or so they say…...
