Being retired, I find that I don't need much in the way of IQ or thinking...the Patch is recreation and judging from my post, I like others (Ron) only need to know where the refrigerator and bathroom is....oh, and the bedroom. The bathroom is everywhere if youre ballsy enough. Mine covers an acre and a quarter. 40 acres if I cross the line.

I wondered if spending too much time on the Patch was reducing my IQ. Being retired, I find that I don't need much in the way of IQ or thinking...the Patch is recreation and judging from my post, I like others (Ron) only need to know where the refrigerator and bathroom is....oh, and the bedroom. My IQ, my idea of not being able to think clearly is my biggest fear.

My IQ, my idea of not being able to think clearly is my biggest fear. I have this same exact existential fear too. I have experienced it I had to retire after I was over medicated with blood pressure meds. I couldn't even remember my own name or my co-workers of 20 years acquaintance. It took months to get my mind back. I could have worked 2 more years at a fantastic salary.

That sounds brutal. Glad you’ve got your faculties back though.

There would be only one building. A majestic building. This building will have a large open floor plan four to five stories high with a single domed roof. Large stained glass windows 20 feet high and 5 feet wide, 50 of them evenly spaced all around a circular room full of every book I could read in a lifetime. These windows would have intricate images from my favorite stories. High backed heavily cushioned cashmere chairs sit in four ever slowly changing positions around the room. Each chair is coupled with a table and turkish style lamp. In the center of the massive room a cylindrical shaped tobacco and cigar bar with every one of my favorite pipe tobacco blends and cigars. Serving the drinks, cigars, tobacco, fresh pipes, and occasional meal would be an ever pleasant young butler/maid. Yes my friends truly heaven.
