Up with the dogs at 3:15. I figured I might as well puff on this bulldog while they pee...they figured they might as well pee while smoke. B.H.T. in the pipe.

The bowl unscrews, like a Falcon or a Kirsten What about the stem? At any rate, a neat piece.
Thank you about the lighter. I have been pretty happy with it thus far. I did have to send it in for a warranty repair when the base plate screw backed out ad was lost, but it was easily taken care of.
For cleaning, as fadingdaylight mentioned, you can unscrew the bowl and clean it as a normal briar. The stem will pass a churchwarden pipe cleaner. Like my full bent briars, I put a slight bend on the end of the cleaner to help facilitate easy passage. You can swab the radiator portion with a pipe cleaner or paper towel. Weibe also states that you can clean it by running warm water through the radiator and stem when the bowl is removed, though I haven't tried it yet.

Too hot to smoke on the porch...too hot to walk to the shed and smoke out there...guess I am just lazy and not much I can do about that.

Glad you like it, Pete. Three Friars in the Monday cob. Sprucing up some cobs that needed a refresh. what does that entail? I just want to be on top of keeping the cobs in top shape... Well, all my cobs have been sanded smooth, stained (dyed, actually) and sprayed with polyurethane. Over time, with smoking, they tend to darken up, the colors dull a little and the polyurethane wears down in spots. The "grain" also tends to raise a little. I was just sanding them, re-staining and now putting on several coats of poly. As far as regular maintenance goes, I give them the bowls a light reaming and clean the stems with several folded pipe cleaners.

I'll have to figure out a plan of attack to try and stain (dye) some of mine. Might hit you up for tips & tricks when I do
