First smoke of the day is going to be one of my own blends. Gen X-tra 2oz-Yellow VA 2oz- Red VA 1oz- Blended Turkish Ribbon 1oz- Perique 1.5oz Dark Fired Kentucky Sounds good ... it's no "Throat Punch" but sounds tasty!! 😁 I finally smoked the last of Throat Punching Grandpa a few months ago.

very nice! I have a bunch of whole leaf I stripped the stems and are aging in jars until I make my new press. I did find a recipe for snuff so I made a batch of that.

2006 McClelland Blakeney's Best Acadian ribbon in a brand new, new production Kaywoodie Saxon panel pipe exclusively from Greywoodie. He has partnered with S.M. Frank directly to create the first merchandise for Kaywoodie/Medico/Yello-Bole since the 60's. They've got a cool t-shirt for $25 that I didn't purchase at the show, but will soon be snagging one on his website, greywoodie.com
This pipe is featherweight light with a very thin and comfortable-to-clinch saddlebit vulcanite stem.

Don't mind me, I'm still playing with RYO cigarettes. This one is mostly VA Slices, with a bit of Dutch Natural Cavendish, and a pinch of Pirate Kake.

First 3/4 bowl in an MM show cob is 2016 Sutliff Edward G Robinson blend. The cob is a "pandemic-supply-shortages" show only cob that features a bowl 3/4 the size of an MM general with a limited blue/white swirl acrylic stem identical in size to the short acrylic stem of the MM Dagner Pipes poker and with the same silver aluminum band.

Newminster #403 Slices in the Sunday cob. Thinking the DFK is a little overpowering for me.

Started the evening with some Wilke 515 in a Peterson XL23. Unfortunately, even after some drying time it was still too wet to keep properly lit. Switched to some Haunted Bookshop in the Wiebe full bent radiator.

Five o'clock Shadow in the Sunday cob. Might be the last one tonight. But you know where I'll be and what I'm smoking in the morning!

Posting Haunted Bookshop a lot, you may have to change your favorite tobacco on your profile! Yeah, I have thought about adding it to the profile list. I spent the last year chasing latakia blends, so it is a nice departure. There is nothing specific with it that jumps out at me, but rather an underlying comfortable consistent flavor that I am currently enjoying. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Love it, in a cob, with a cup of coffee in the morning. But, I can (and have) smoke it all day. Might be my codger blend.

Just finished a good one hour smoke of the Eight State Burley in the Old Dominion "Missouri Meerschaum" cob. I'd posted that it was a Laughing King, but it's actually an even bigger version of the Old Dominion Richmond made from Missouri Meerschaum Washington corn stock, Missouri Meerschaum bought out Old Dominion recently and makes all of them from their own corn now, not the Indian heirloom Old Dominion used. I typically smoke a bunch of different MM finished cobs but I gotta say, this cob here being such a thick walled unfinished variety smokes absolutely cool and I'm certain you could scorch your tongue right out of your mouth and the cob bowl wouldn't even heat up.

Silver, I've not updated my profile since joining in 2016. (This guy has loved Haunted Bookshop since 2015) What's striking about the reed stem is that there is no shank to the pipe. One pipe cleaner through and the stem is clean with no eventual gunk to be cleaned from internals of a shank. That being said, it cannot be clenched but makes for a perfect cob to sit back and relax.
EDIT: (Joined in 2017 it seems)
