OGS in a Dr. Grabow Eldorado Lovat. Agree, lotsa hay. Not getting fruit or spice yet. Slight underlying sweetness, though. The tobacco itself is a nearly uniform golden color with little bits of darker tobacco. If that's the Perique, then its a very small amount. It's a very small amount in condimental amount. A popular Danish thing to do is boost the perique to your preference.

in from usual full walks, no-band 6x42 for company. After the Ed is fed, Abingdo n in old Nording freehand & continue with the papers. Will have to jockey around our vehicles later, her buggy, can't use the key fob to do the basics, can unlock the door manually. She can't actually drive my truck as you actually drive same, not aim it with gear changing machine...she never learned it.
76, clear for now, rain expected eventually

my own blend ,The Lion and The Lamb mixture, in a bulldog/ish pipe marked, Genod. The tobacco is a blend of Virginias and latakias that have grown dark and rich over time. The smoke is thick and full with pungent, sweet notes from tobaccos that date back to 2007. Hot coffee, as always, sits close by.

Had a quick bowl of Haunted Bookshop and coffee on the front porch before leaving to do some landscaping work. On the way there, I smoked WC Slices, and Haunted Bookshop on the way home. Resting on the front porch with cold water and more WC Slices. All in the Thursday cob.

Just had a bowl off MM965 in a brand new Peterson Irish Harp 80S (Bent Bulldog). Along with that came the discovery of Peterson's bowl coating. Got sticky immediately and formed a thick pseudo-cake with the first bowl, though I didn't smoke to the bottom and the dottle was goopier than usual.

A popular Danish thing to do is boost the perique to your preference. I'll continue sampling it. Its not a bad smoke, as it is, but maybe could use a little more perique. But, I could just buy Bayou Morning Flake.

Mocha Slices in the Willard Lovat, thanks to a great trade with Kerley0319 This aromatic is definitely a change from my usual English/ Latakia blends, but it's not an unpleasant change. It definitely lives up to it's name and tastes a lot like the beverage offered at that place named after the Pequot's pious 1st mate. I'm looking forward to introducing it to a couple of my friends.

P.S. Burley 312 in a Kaywoodie Shellcraft lovat, a little nutty, with a bit of brown sugar, but some rough edges too...this could end up as a mixer ; time will tell.

Bald Headed Teacher in the MM Elf Cobbit, gonna have to pick up another one of these pipes... Glad you enjoy yours. I have a Shire Cobbit that I enjoy smoking quite a bit, and have been thinking of adding an Elf Cobbit to the collection. checking these out now, they look amazing and the MM are always a good smoke.
