2016 GH & Co. Ennerdale Flake in this 1937 Dr Grabow De Luxe 9773 Rhodesian. The stem has recently been lightly fine sanded and obsidian oiled since photo'd but will need to snap a few better pictures.

My Alligator is an estate pipe that I refurbished. In Romania it's quite difficult to aqquire new good pipes and the shops' offers IMHO are quite dissapointing...

fadingdaylight, thanks. Because of the size of the pipe (MM General), I got to go a little crazy with the chisel.

Tobacco order arrived. I just finished my second bowl of C&D Old Joe Krantz in a Savinelli 626 Saturnia. Since I liked Haunted Bookshop, I thought I would try OJK as well as Pegasus from C&D. I am really enjoying this blend thus far. Like HB, the first light and few puffs can be a little rough, but then the flavors start to shine.

I thought the Mexican style was clay? Slate has 80-100 years minimum before needing to consider replacement. Ronv69 Silver In Texas... yeah, one classic Gulf Coast disaster (a yearly occurrence it now seems) would find a way to ruin it.
