I've been off for a while trying to keep in touch with family in Southern Louisiana. I've mainly been rotating between a few new to me burly blends the past few days. Having some Surbrugs Crystal Palace in a Savinelli 626 Saturnia for a change of pace. Hoping everyone in ok.

58 load balanced VIPs SNAT'd up and converted to new servers. Finished those in a 5 hour Teams meeting in tandem with another senior engineer. All told, a 15 hour work day. I only have enough more to do to last through January! Finished smoking several bowls of 2010 OGS in my meer gourd calabash. Until the morning, I'm fried.

I found a tin of Germain's Royal Jersey with Latakia that had been forgotten about, what a great smoke. Looks awesome!

Inaugural bowl of MM965 in the Savinelli Tortuga 305. Insisted on finishing every bit, got a bit hot, and got paranoid about potential damage, staring into the bowl forever. All seems well. I think these things are heartier than is often assumed. Nice new toy you got there. I really like the stem. No worries, this series usually has a pre coat on the bowl walls, which helps significantly.

EMP in the Harp. My handsome little petri dish brought something home from school, so I'm fighting a sore throat, but a little chloraseptic makes a morning pipe possible.

Have to work a mandatory 9 hours per day, but it always averages to 10.
We're going to have to write a bunch of shellscripts to automate this process better. I jumped in last night to help who was making the changes as it was moving too slowly.
Up and at em and will be smoking Eight State Burley small batch in show cob 3/4 of a General cob, with blue acrylic stem to get the gears moving.

greets again & hoping all stay well. Tea at desk, Boswell Northwoods (gifted) in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Wifie back from her looong stress activity (seems no longer using treadmill). Had to hold arms upright for one minute, quite sore, otherwise done decent for her age. Results go to our PCP for evaluation. I did manage to do a little snipping here/there while she gone. Soon a snoozie then to sups
65, clear. No hint of the Eastern Seaboard/NewEngland miseries

Thanks Silver. All are OK and safe, although their house is pretty damaged. Lost a porch, siding, a few windows, some out buildings, and a tree through one side of the house. Partial water restored, but no power expected for at least a few weeks. They evacuated for the initial storm, but my brother in law is an essential employee, and is required to stay. Kids are staying up with family in Tennessee for a bit while they try to get things sorted. Communication is still a little sketchy.
I'm getting ready to have some Haunted Bookshop in a Nording signature freehand.
