Just enjoyed a bowl of London Dock. Five year old tin, just opened this morning. Drinking Chai tea and sitting on the deck looking at the forest. Frost on the chairs this morning. Getting ready for an afternoon of kayak fishing.

Bowl of Squadron Leader in the Sav Miele, with my dragon tamper. I’m on book 7 of WoT, so I couldn’t resist. Waiting for the little one to sleep so dad can spend some quiet time on the balcony…

More tobacco from the cherry jar, in another Nording freehand, marked Nording over from Denmark over 1985, which I think is the year I purchased it from The Tinder Box...I'm guessing about the "from", all I can make out is om.

greets & forgot to wish those affected a happy HumpDay earlier. Tea at desk, Boswell Northwoods (gifted) in LaughingBacchus meer. No yard work, steady rain all day. Only thing done, pick up one of wifie's many meds from pharm. Soon a nap then to sups.

Stuffed some Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake into a Peterson Cara 264 and plan to sit on the deck for a while with my feet propped up. Spent a few hours doing yard work today and am reminded that I am not as young as I used to be. I will probably sleep like a lump tonight....

Been slammed at work this week and mostly smoked a few bowls of Mac Baren Rustica flake in a few cobs. A fairly satisfying blend when you pack a full cob and want to smoke at 5-10 min intervals throughout the day but don't quite have time to sit there and smoke an hour long smoke. This morning I'm smoking Eight State Burley up first in my 1960's BBB Own Make Thorneycroft 529 blasted zulu.

Having a mix of Eight State Burley and LC Virginia-Burley in the Wednesday cob. Did that make the Eight State Burley "simmer down"?

Full walks done, no-band 6x42 for company. After the Ed is fed, Abingdon in RadiciRind full bent poker/sitter & continue the papers. Rain due soon, no yard work planned. Probably load the cobs later just for something to do
59, gloomy, headed for 68 eventually

Had a good bowl of OGS earlier in my stanwell 139 while re-reading A Brave New World A great book. We've currently got more Huxley than Orwell in this world, but it's leaning to a hybrid playbook of the two. @charles: Oh, now I'm guessing Wheel of Time series?

Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan. 14 volumes, in addition to a prequel novel and two companion books. One of my favorites, second only to Gene Wolfe's "Solar Cycle" series.
