I just had the most relaxing bowl of Voodoo Queen, in my old Hillson egg, as my wife drove the RAM to the local dump for our monthly garage cleanout. My foot's way too heavy,so I get to sit and puff.

Murray's Warrior plug in an elongated Longchamp. It is the only pipe I have that is not circular, I am wondering if that was just something to be different back then. I am sure there are plenty of others out there, but I haven't seen any. It's a shape called the Opera. Often sold as the name the Opera pipe. Chacom, Comoy's and others still sell them today. The oval billiard bowl itself is what makes it the opera shape. They were originally meant to be a pocket pipe to match your suit when you were out to an actual opera. Dunhill made/makes them. Often a very small pipe and the oval bowl is supposed to be slimmer to fit in a zootsuit vest pocket.
"The Opera Pipe. Compact and oval-bowled to fit discreetly in a vest pocket for a quick smoke between acts."
"Yes, that is correct, the flattened head of this “Evening Dress” shape (in our terminology) was exactly developed for that purpose. Hener, K. S., Product Line Director - The White Spot Smoker's Accessory Division and Walthamstow site."

Paul's Morning Head in my Danish made Stanwell Legend 63M. Morning Head is the result of a blending accident. Dan Spaniola was working at the same time on batches of Arrowhead (a vanilla aro) and Morning Smoke (Virginia with some Latakia). He accidentally mixed about 8.5 lbs of Arrowhead and about 3.5 lbs of Morning Smoke. I’m smoking my first bowl of this and my wife just turned to me and asked what I’m smoking because it smells just like hot chocolate with marshmallows.

It sounds like Mr. Spaniola dodged a bullet, glad it worked out for him.
If he tins it up, and markets it as Warm Cocoa Christmas as a small batch, the PADdies will run to buy it all.

Smoked some Epiphany earlier this afternoon. Then it was Haunted Bookshop and Oak Alley on the way to and from visiting my Dad. My son was already over when I got home, for dinner with his folks. Had a couple bowls of Three Friars while we hung out after our meal. Now, I'm having Presbyterian in a 1951 Dunhill Shell billiard.

That's a nice menu. Nice Shell Briar, too.
I may have to dig out some Presbyterian.

Thanks. Regarding the Presbyterian and Epiphany, I'm slowly reintroducing latakia to my diet. Baby steps.

Yeah, Presbyterian is a pretty mild one. Haven't tried Epiphany.

Even milder. There is just enough latakia to season the blend.
