Shortcut to Mushrooms in a poker-ish pipe...Commodore is on the side..looks a lot like it might have been a Charatan second. Charatan, Comoy's, Linkman/Grabow, & Big Ben each made Commodore pipes. I can't tell from that angle of the photo but I'd venture it a Comoy's, or a Charatan.
Now trying Milan Tobacconist's Our Carter Hall in an MM Mark Twain. Thanks Darktater!

This is an older Stanwell and it smokes really well. It just gets a bit hot at the heel. All of my Stanwells are good smokers. I have a Savinelli stack too (130KS). That one, I love. They're my Virginia pipes.

Butternut burley in an LHS bullnose...sweet that this pipe is finally broken in. Mine was purchased as a new old stock and it's broken in well too. Isn't it great, after 60 plus years?

Wilke Bestmake in a ventilated tomato. I can't read the makers name. This was a NOS that I got cheap. It's rather small but it smokes great.

Might be something from Tracy Mincer, or inspired by him.

I'd certainly assume they snagged the idea from Tracy Mincer. I'm on the lookout for a real early Tracy Mincer and would pounce on one. I've got a Sketcher Doodler pot, but no real Mincer. Going to smoke some of the G.L. Pease Haddo's Delight that DarkTater sent me. Probably in that Sketcher Doodler pipe, only because I'm now thinking about it.

Miss again and it goes on your permanent record. Will I get double secret probation or something? Your permanent record follows you around for the rest of your life, young man. It's no laughing matter. You could be forbidden from buying certain kinds of socks. Entering a Waffle House on a Thursday. Be unable to get a job at some toxic waste sites.
