Haunted Bookshop in the new cob. Daughter and son-in-law in town this weekend. Had fun hanging out with them. All have gone to bed now. Still need a name for this pipe. Not going with Roman numerals.

Every now and again a person experiences a blissful evening enjoyin their briars and blends. This has been one of those nights.
Started out the night with a bowl of some 2011 MM965 in one of my Bent Bulldogs. Definitely one of my regular smokes.
Then it was time for a bowl of 2002 Marlin Flake in the Hercules. What a wonderful blend.
Next in line was some 2011 Penzance in the Rusticated Hardcastle Bent Bulldog. Spectacular.
Now I'm enjoyin a tin of Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture in my dedicated Liz pipe.... Dunhill Zulu #5. Love this blend.
Started out with a cup of Earl Grey, now sippin Buffalo trace.
Cheers and Merry Christmas my friends.

Just out of curiosity (and mild wonderment, and no small envy), how much tobacco would you say you go through in a month, Pete?

Slipknot, Deathwish Coffee, 5 Brothers in a MM Diplomat 5th Ave. Happy Saturday all Saw them in concert w/ Korn and King 810 a few years back.
It's very high winds here with advisories lasting the whole day. Intended to get some sample packages sent this morning but I'm not driving with all the flying debris and 30-55mph wind gusts. A neighbor's large yard tent, large enough to park two vehicles underneath it has already blown about 10ft into the air and snapped in half upside down over their garage. I got out the Dremel rotary kit intending to experiment with some small wood pieces and a corn cob that I grew two seasons ago and have left to long cure. It's a tiny cob though.
I finished up my large ceramic Zenith Amsterdam bowl of Haunted Bookshop first up. Next up is Watch City Stubb's Pipe in an MM Mark Twain.

Ashton Artisan's’ Blend in a Dr. Grabow Golden Duke. Really windy around here, but at least it’s 58 degrees. I can smoke in the garage without freezing.

Watch City Old Dominion Flake in a straight Falcon with rustic Algiers bowl. Had to try a cooler and filtering pipe in order to tone down all the heavily overly applied vinegar.

Zach They've been my favorite band for many many moons. Corey Taylor is amazing at all he does (Slipknot, Stone Sour, CMFT), and a really relatedable human. I saw them a little over a month ago before I left Phoenix. They had Killswitch Engage, Code Orange, and Fever 333 with them. It was an amazing show. Embarcadero in the Grabow Freehand.

looks like the heavy winds etc from the noted mid-western area (not tornado) is passing thru Western NY. Did manage some brief yard work before it hit. Tea now at desk, Northwoods in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room.
61, winds up to 60mph, rain coming in sideways from SW directions, no damage from downed trees so far in area (no trees on our property)
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since '62
