2021 Rouxgaroux in a Savinelli unfinished 904KS with gold/yellow acrylic stem. darktater - The Inns of Court is a very excellent blend and the first of the series I've tried so far. I think I've had all but 2, and enjoyed them all. My fave is Blairgowrie. First Amendment is probably second. Inns of Court goes right up to the edge of too rich for me, but it stops just short.

2013 McC Beacon in my Savinelli Giubileo d’Oro 514KS long shank slightly bent Bulldog. I want a huge Savinelli with a wide flared diamond shank like that bulldog. That's a stunner.

I happen to have seen such a thing just in the past couple days. Went back and found it: www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/savinelli/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=267014It's not huge, but otherwise answers the description. The triangle is rounded a bit, and I don't if it's as broad as you're looking for, but it looks fairly broad to me, particularly in the bottom's up pic.

That one is nice, Urb. I mean a HUGE pipe though and a wide, flat diamond shank. A shank over half an inch wide. A chamber around 3 inches in depth. A HUGE Savinelli EX EX EL. Like an 8 ounce version of that pipe John has in that 514KS.

Like an 8 ounce version of that pipe John has in that 514KS. I’ve only ever seen the 514 as KS. It’s an older shape (my pipe is from the 70s with a standard tenon). At one point a Laudisi rep had told me it was a discontinued shape, but I’ve since seen a few show up as new on SP. My 514KS has a bowl about 1.75” deep. The shank is over half a inch wide flattened diamond. Mine is a GdO because two opposite shank faces are nothing but grain and the other two are nothing but birdseye. The block used ended up being perfect for this shape.

Pegasus in a Great Dane Spindle. Not seeing this pattern on MM's website anymore. Looks like they're focusing more on their $26-30 pipes. That would be okay, if their QC were up to snuff.

Up with the dogs at 3:30, the beagle ,the shiba-inu, and the Caminetto bulldog ,and half a bowl of Storm Front...and just to get back to sleep, half a highball glass of Old Grand Dad and Coke. It's heavy on the Coke cause I'm a candyass.

It's heavy on the Coke cause I'm a candyass. This was possibly my favorite post of 2021 to close things out!
I'm just now getting to a cob smoke of leftovers of Golden Days of Yore, a few ribbons of Cloud Hopper, and mixed with some C&D John Marr. All crispy and devoid of any moisture.
