A little leftover pinch of the Crumble Kake Orchard Mist, larger pinch of Sutliff Duke Albert, tiny pinch of C&D John Marr, and a decent dash of 2015 C&D Cube-cut burley. Mark Twain cob.

Actually, his owner found another dog at the pound and gave him to the bureaucrats to be shot. He lived a long, secret life and sired many pups. I hadn't finished. Spoiler alert next time. No one cares about the pound terrier? Anyway, it's LNF in a Kaywoodie Saxon foursquare. Pink grapefruit seltzer. Sorry, I though that was it. In Australia the lunatics are in charge of the asylum. The publicity here would have put a stop to that. Did you ever read the story of Smokey, the hero Yorkie? Check it out.

That's quite a pooch. And I can't even get my lummox to stay at his end of the bed half the time.

I had only one dog bite in my career and it was a four pound Yorkie. I opened his cage and went to pat his head and he got me--broke my finger! In his defense, I had a syringe in my other hand and he knew the score.

My concern was leaking at stem/bowl joint. I guess i did a good enough job of fitting the bamboo to hole in the stem (i drilled in out larger) and wood glue. No leaks.

I've seen people say a bamboo shank absorbs more moisture, making for a drier smoke (and a wetter shank). Didn't know if you'd noticed a difference.

Smoking my latest stew-pot blend, a tin of Sutliff's Alexander's Bridge, with 1/2 oz Sutliff's Dark burley. Not bad at all, but more time to meld wont hurt.

I did notice a bit of moisture halfway through the smoke. Pipe cleaner took care of that.
