Over the last few days, got a tobacco order which included 3 tins of Scarecrow. I'll pop one of them tonight. Also got 3 Dr. Grabows for restoration. One's in really clean shape, the other two will be projects (fun!). Maybe I'll post before/after pics.

Thanks Charlie. There always seems to be a steady supply of petty tyrants just waiting for an opportunity to show someone who’s the boss. At the same time, this is my first experience of this over many years of many orders from various places, so my odds are still good. I guess I just won’t be restocking HU this time. Kind of annoying though in that it was a $400+ order. I have thought about trying some things from Mr. Snuff, good to know that doesn’t seem to be an issue. Sadly, Mr Snuff does not sell pipe tobacco, but somehow they ship their stuff from overseas to a point in Wappinger Falls New York, and they forward it on and I usually get the order in a week or so. No longer have to wait for the yearly/biyearly free shipping on orders of $50. Flat rate shipping of $4.99 I am guessing that they did the tobacco export paperwork to land it stateside, and have a few employees to ship it out.

The nic pouches are quite nice, I have been liking the Odens line, really nice when you cannot smoke.

My package from Estervals is on its way back to Germany. Customs treated it as a commercial shipment and wanted licenses, etc. to release it so I just requested that it be returned. Estervals was willing to re-ship it to see if it would go through but I opted for a refund. Got some tobacco in the mail today though. A few tins of Creeper of the Corn because I liked the label, a couple pounds of Mac Baren Vanilla Roll Cake since I’ve been going through a lot of it and some other odds and ends.

Too big for the mailbox, today by freight truck. Inspect it for hidden damage Brad, and make sure it is noted. Big, bulky stuff / captain crunch forklift driver….I have seen a lot of concealed damage take place.

Too big for the mailbox, today by freight truck. If it comes like my mower, you'll need a sabre saw, an angle grinder, a socket set and a big hammer to get it out.

Ninja Foodi Neverstick pans, 13 pc… normally $400, Kohls had them on sale and with the wife’s 40% off coupon, they were $200.
I got my Ben Rapaport book on collecting Meerschaums from an ABE book seller, Willis Monie- Books Cooperstown NY, that did an incredible job on packing -a book in prime condition.
“Collecting Antique Meerschaum Pipes”.

I've been limited for time lately and behind on posting in here.
Recently got
4 oz Gawith Hoggarth Dark Bird's Eye 4 oz Gawith Hoggarth Dark Flake Aromatic (Got the Gawith Hoggarth bail-top jar with this order) 1 oz Gawith Hoggarth Sliced Black Twist 2 oz Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Flake 2 oz Sutliff Z92 Vanilla Custard tin of McConnell's Latakia Flake tin of C&D Miskatonic Mixture 200g tin Druquer & Sons Inns of Court mixture 4 tins of Low Country's Limited Edition Atalaya tin of Sutliff Crumble Kake Virginia Perique tin of Sutliff Crumble Kake Red Virginia a green tobaccojar pocket jar some BJ Long's rubber bits (4)
Notably, I checked for Escudo on a whim tonight with the Atalaya order and it was in stock. I put one tin in the cart. Cool, haven't been able to get any this year. I tried to up it to 3 tins. Nope, there was only 1 tin in stock. 2 minutes later I'm about complete with my order and it tells me to remove that 1 tin from my cart to proceed, that there's none available. Get it together, Lane. You have ONE good tobacco to make!

I bought a briar pipe, something I haven’t done much of. (I have bought three meerschaum pipes this month so I’m sure they won’t feel like they’re being replaced)

Do you have other Maestro Gepetto pipes? I have admired the styling on those for quite a while.

I know their parent company, Ser Jacopo, has a great reputation, but I have no direct experience with them either.

I’m friends with Sally “The Pipe Tart" Gottlieabson. She has always talked highly of Ser Jacopo pipes and has several.
