If I ever find myself in LA, I want to visit Langer’s: “ Langer's Delicatessen-Restaurant There is no conversation of pastrami without talk of Langer’s, an L.A. beacon since 1947. You know the drill: order the #19, pastrami laced with swiss cheese, Russian dressing and cole slaw, then split the sandwich with a small family of four.” We have a friend who has a house in Aneheim that he's always begging me to use and he is getting tired of the excuses. It's not him, it's LA. After Africa, it's the last place I want to go in the world. Yeah, not likely we will ever go there, I feel the same way. I would like to visit an orphanage in Uganda that my cousin manages though, they are doing the Lord’s work.

Breakfast sandwich of toast, one firm fried egg, ham slices and Muenster Cheese. Could not finish it. Set aside for later. It seems I can eat a very small amount but more frequently than in thepast. The changes brought by age!!! You seem to be transitioning into small plate-frequent repasts rather than big 3x full meals. This is a Good Thing I think. Perhaps so. This evening I are more of a regular dinner of Green Beans and peas, Soba buckwheat noodles with sesame oil and tamari sauce and a modest filet of Yellowfin Tuna. We shall see what happens. It is all about controlling blood sugar.

The Japanese make some fine kitchen knives for very precise work such as Sushi. Your potato slices are a good start.

One egg, fried tofu, fried bread slice. The Tamari sauce mixes with the egg yolk to make a nice sauce for the bean curd. Could add many things. Ginger, fresh, would be good in there.
