I made Beef bourguignon tonight but finished it too late to eat it. Tasted it and it came out great. Gave my wife a taste and she said it was very rich. Ya think? That is a great dish. Glad yours came out fine. Better the next day. For laughs sometime, see if you can find the Beef bourguignon segment of Julia Child's TV show from the 1960s. Just watched it. It was the first episode, her first TV show. I made mine very different from hers. I marinated the beef in the wine before I seasoned it with salt and pepper and coated it with flour, then browned it. Various other differences after that but similar. Came out great anyway.

Not really eating as of yet, made the Guacamole.
We got 10 pounds of chicken wings on sale, no deep fryer, I was going to do it on the stove, but I hate the mess of deep frying, the house smells for hours so I looked at reviews from a trusted source that is succinct and to the point, and all they do is cook...unlike consumer reports that wants a subscription to see their recommendations.
The only place to get one is on Amazon or Wayfair, $120.00
Went to offer up, found one 4 miles away, new in box, the seller received it as a gift and does not deep fry. $40.00!
Asian chicken wings coming later.

If I ever get a call like that while at home, I hope to spend a lot of time with them giving them fake usernames, fake passwords, credit card numbers, and start twisting their brain, tell them about my alien abduction to the planet of Quaalude.
(figure they are to young to know what I am talking about)

Mushroom Swiss burgers, home fries and cottage cheese I remember the first time I had a burger with mushrooms and Swiss, but I cannot remember where, certainly not a chain restaurant, but they pair well. I have Swiss in the fridge, I have mushrooms in the veg-drawer, and I have Hamburgesa in the icebox....therefore I must go.

I dusted mine with cornstarch and cayenne, they turned out really good and the honey/ garlic/ soy and other ingredients really made these winners… sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.

Just a quick review on this unit, it didn't skip a beat on recovery mode when the basket was dropped (several batches), the wings cooked uniformly, and the amazing thing is the unit after cooling drains the oil past a filter into a sealed holding tank as it cools. The fine screen prevents particles from entering the holding tank and you just unscrew a cap when you are ready to go again. The heating element and controls are all one unit that lift off...easy to clean and everything else can be put in the dishwasher. They really did their homework on this one. Time will tell on longevity, but it far exceeds the units I had in the past based on what I am seeing. www.t-falusa.com/Kitchen-electrics/Fryers/Ultimate-EZ-Clean-Fryer/p/7211001726

We use the air frier a lot. But the wife wants to make Loukoumades for Sean, and there are some things that you can't make without frying in oil. I suggested that we just get some unglazed donut holes and cover them with honey.

I like my Ninja air fryer, but there are some things as you said that are meant to be cooked in oil.
