Zach no patches, but 8mg "On" pouches get rid of the morning craving almost instantly. Instead of twist it's Copenhagen Long Cut, which I just recently picked up to curb the cravings while at work. Dirty hands can't shove snuff up my nose every 15 minutes. Once I'm off work it doesn't even bother me.

When I quit smoking cigs I just completely switched to pipes and never looked back. Though the next year or two I did go for a few cans of Copenhagen while working. Been wanting to try some of these fancy Swedish Snus', I know they carry General's at my B&M and I've bookmarked a bunch on MisterSnuff and a Swedish etailer site. Every time I consider it though I convince myself I've got plenty of twist for the rare occasions I want that.
I think the mindset against cigarettes helps. When you tell yourself that there's almost no real tobacco in a low-mid grade cigarette and that it's 50% floor sweepings and reconstituted "enhanced" stems that have been soaked, dried, and resoaked in extra nicotine and uptake chemicals I think it makes it easy to start to hate cigarettes.

Like they say: it's a nicotine-delivery device. A syringe that doesn't need a needle.

greets & happy HumpDay to those affected. In from full walks, no-band 6x42 for company. After the Ed is fed, Apertif in PrebenHolm POY/PCI '84, smooth "brandy" with good grain. Only indoor doings ahead, weather sez so
35, high for the day, misty rain changing to snow. "Misty Rain"?...sounds like stage name of a stripper I knew, in my case, eons ago!

uneventful day so far. Wifie has to send bizness end of her "Medi-Alert" back for diff model that can be charged via plug in wall (her present one...the other end is a "phone jack" & won't do it). She now decided to snoozie upstairs this time. Tea at desk, BB1938 in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. To do up breakfast dishes, nap on couch, then to sups

I'd rather have Ed around to keep enjoying that Preben, himself. I have to admit, the name jumped out at me when I read the post. Glad to see there are other guys who still appreciate the Danish freehand carvers.
