Toothache since Friday last. Trying to find a Dentist. Nothing easy in this part of the world. Days of waiting. You manage to get that clove oil, John? I got it pm Saturday and have been making good use of it. About the only relief I can find. Tried RSO on top of it and that helps, too. Apply the Hash oil to the gum line and hope it sinks in to quiet the nerve. I was able to find a Dentist today to see me today. I have two of my 20 remaining teeth which need Root Canals and Crowns. They are right next to each other. I have pretty well messed up my teeth by not wearing my Partial Dentures the past several years. Worn down what remains it seems. I am taking Amoxicillin and Tylenol Codeine Number 3, reduce infection, inflammation and pain.. As soon as I can figure out how to pay for it, I need to go in for the procedure. Another reason Why I wish to have been paid for last five months work! I will figure out something. THis happened to me years ago. I could not afford the cost of the extractions of teeth and how I suffered! Finally after months of suffering I found a dentist who would take payments. This time I hope to move things along faster! |

Election Day. I feel deprived as we don’t have any destiny-shattering issues on our ballot. Picture voter-ID is on there but that’s about all the drama. Constitutional carry didn’t make it. With fuel costs what they are I’ll be doubling up on errands: vote, haircut, groceries, hardware, and may some Canadian for after-hunt toddies.

Same boat as you John. 2 decades of not taking care of myself caught up to me. The last dentist I went to cost me a small fortune. I started having issues with the work he did shortly after. He told me to go back and he would fix them. Nope! That's something you do right the first time. I should have used what I spent and had them pulled and replaced.
I'm actually at the dentist office with son #2 because I'd rather make sure he's taken care of and doesn't have to deal with what I do.
I hope your issues are solved quickly. Tooth aches can become crippling.

Got finished at the dentist and got a message that she had to take baby girl to urgent care with a high fever. Drove all the way across the county to drop 1 kid off then drove 1/2 way back from where I started in record time.
Many more nights like this and the people at Whataburger are going to know me by my first name.

Absolutely right Bob! When I'm with them during the day I feel like I'm 28. When night time hits, I feel like I'm 82. It's worth every second of it. I'm pretty sure the beard is greying faster than ever right now, Charlie. Alice was a mess when I got there. Screaming and crying with eyes so red and  that they were almost shut. She doesn't do well in new/strange places, and she had a fever of 103. So it was to be expected. Her mom sent me a pic of her and my speedometer jumped 20 mph. Alice was upset, "mom" was aggravated. I got there and she reached out. I grabbed her and did my thing and she was fast asleep in just a few minutes. Dad wins. Every. Single. Time. There's more to this story, but I'll spare the details and make it short. It's me who is the peaceful, kind hearted, caring, attentive, loving one. Little kids feed off your energy. They know where to go. I'm beat. Time to finish this gut busting milk shake, have a pipe, and turn on the idiot box. |

I need to mulch the leaves and put out 100 pounds of winter rye, but it's been way too damp. I'm hoping that it dries up enough to get it done today before more rain tomorrow.

Woke up this morning to a pack of Pit Bulls killing my livestock.
Tried to get my frozen carbine out of the truck. took 10 minutes to get it functioning in the cold.
one mama goat dead.
one mama sheep missing and presumed dead.
my little Australian girl dog is gone, probably mauled. .
Need help. So ill it is hard to walk, trying to find my dog.

I've had a cold for a week and it's moved to my chest. I usually get rid of it within a day or two, but this one is lingering. Apart from feeling snotty and coughing up gunk, I feel fine.

Follows me everywhere crying. Sits on my shoulder. Smells like poop. Could be gassey from the richer food here. Dearest little cat. Wants a human of its own. LOL. A Russian Blue, I believe they are called. I turn away NO cats or dogs. Heck, I would adopt bears, deer and bobcats if I could. |

County is too big and the S.O. too small for things like that here. If someone has a compelling argument that someone else is in danger they will likely go out to visit or call on the phone first. |
