I love doing copper. I learned how a very l9ng time ago. PEX is simple. It's the drain lines that kill me. These came up from the floor, theough the bottom of the vanity. I'm moving them all into the wall 😑

Five inches of snow on the ground. More coming.
After one week of Amoxicillin with a week of prednisone before that, I feel like crap.
Taking "Spore Restore" Probiotics now and staying close to the wood stove today.

We just had our whole house replumbed with PEX a couple of years ago and it cost about a third of what the job would have cost with galvanized pipe 40 years ago. I don't know how long it will last or what issues with come up with it. |

You can find test videos of PEX lines, it's pretty amazing stuff.
My solder joints usually aren't pretty, but I haven't had one fail (fingers crossed). Upside down ones still give me a run for the money.

Off day had not had one of these in a very long time. Deere took Little Guy to urgent care and I went down to side job dropping walnut trees. Somehow I lost my favorite work pipe in the orchard sandblasted B42 PeteðŸ˜then I lost a bucking wedge🤬 I was using for fall/dumping the trees. Told the fellow sorry off day have not had one in a long time but I was done for the day and headed home.

Up early for a change. 0 degrees (F) at 0600, about Dawn, which explains why it was cold overnight! Feed the woodstove and make a pot of coffee. That is cold for the middle of November in these parts.

It is surprisingly "Liquid" in that it can be converted to cash pretty much on demand. Outside, it has warmed to +7 degrees (F). We may see double digit temps today. It is cloudy so little solar gain. |

I need to get a lot of mine split have about 20 cords of walnut to split and 3 of madrone. Have a couple cords of oak split and a stacked a couple cord split stacked of mixed origin that will get burned first. They guy I worked for this season has a couple hundred acres two miles from me and several dead oak trees topped my wood box off the other day from wood from his place. I haven't had a wood pile this big in years.
