This is going to be a dirty old day. Rain, rain & more rain. That's not a bad thing, it will allow me to smoke my pipes more. St Bernard Flake in my Bruyère 4202 (2021). Black tea with milk & sugar on the side.

Haunted Bookshop in the new, self-made billiard. Nice! I only have about 25 pipes, and only about a dozen of those are smoked with any regularity. But most of them tend to be straight pipes, with saddle stems, in traditional shapes. I have always admired those who can can color and manage to stay within the lines. That just looks like a comfortable pipe that might hold an extra pinch of tobacco--sort of a chubby billiard that leans a bit toward being a pot. Nice job. I wish I had the skills to do that sort of thing.

HH Burley Flake in Comoy G. Giants part of the bowl driving to work and finished it after I ate lunch. You darn Burley guys, Burley is starting to grow on me. I think I will keep the jar of HH Burley Flake in my lunch box for a while.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee. Cool, wet and gloomy day here. I'll probably find myself in the workshop at some point today.

I think I will keep the jar of HH Burley Flake in my lunch box for a while. Pretty sure HH Burley Flake will be my first 1 lb. purchase. Hopefully it will still be available by the time I can fit it in my budget!

I just remembered, I have a tin of HH Old Dark Fired from 2015. I picked it up at a B&M 6 months ago, in Princeton NJ. After this Irish Flake, I will fire it up tomorrow. An hour later still enjoying my bowl of Irish Flske in the little apple
