I mixed roughly equal parts Old Joe Krantz with Amphora Special Reserve Cavendish, and loaded it into my MM Legend Straight with the Aldo Velani balsa wood filter. For being a grouchy old bastard, OJK sure gets along well with other blends.

C&D Orion's Arrow in the Wednesday cob. Oh hey, that blend is the one I usually stick in one of the MM Pony Express cobs before driving to work. It doesn't punish me for puffing too fast when passing semi trucks, and usually finishes up right as I pull into the parking lot. Great flavor all the way to the bottom!

This bowl was still tasty, even though it was mostly bottom-of-the-jar dust. Gotta refill it tomorrow.

Oh I forgot to mention; Mac Baren HH Burley Flake in the Falcon w/ meerschaum bowl. Superb.
I really do like the Amphora Burley Blend; at its best, it's comparable to this one, but it gets pretty grumpy by the end of the bowl. MBHHBF, by contrast, stays quite happy down to its dying puff.

And this time it's Amphora Virginia Blend in a MM Pony Express. Quick and tasty.

Way earlier, full walks, no-band 6x42 for company. For whatever reason, back to sleep for around 2hrs (just another age-related I'd guess).
52, now lite rain, headed for 66, rain continues for much of the day
