Big 'n' Burley in a 5th ave Let Freedom Ring w/ dark orange swirl Forever type E stem. I've smoked about 2 ounces of this over the past month and it really feels like a Runowski blend (it's not) but it's Riverboat Gambler with a tiny dash of Latakia added in such an amount that most of the time sipping this mixture is a really bold burley and Oriental zing until you suddenly hit the spice of a single latakia ribbon somewhere mid bowl. You slow it down to a snail's pace sip as soon as you detect that ribbon, and it's got all the exotic burley/Oriental/Latakia spice of any great Oriental forward mixture. I've found Big 'n' Burley great for reading as it zones in my focus mid bowl and helps suck me into the story. (Because it's high in nicotine, for those considering the blend.)

It's been a truly wonderful day of pipes, cigars, scotch, bourbon and golf today. Got up this morning and had my customary bowl of EMP with my pot of black coffee. Throughout the day it's been Liz, Whitehouse, Presby, and a few other bowls. This afternoon I met one of my closest friends for a round on Pinehurst #1. Great round, great weather and half a dozen Factory Smokes cigars. This evening we went over to another close family friends for Cinco De Mayo festivities. After dinner the guys, my son Nick and I went out on the deck for some Cuban Cohiba's and some Willett Bourbon and 18 yo Macallan. All in all, not a bad Thursday. cheers
p.s. sittin here with a bowl of 2012 Margate and sippin some Buffalo Trace ( I know, tough life, but hey... Glad to take one for the team)
