Oh by the way, I noticed that P&C had the picture of the MacArthur polished cob pictured for the $17.99 listing of the MacArthur natural. Ordered it, and sure enough, I received the $22+ polished bent MacArthur for the $17.99 natural version price. I love it when P&C constantly do these things.

I started my Friday with a trip to the local landfill, a G.Vecchio egg filled with F.M. Cellar for company. Returning home, I had a bowl of Old Black Magic in my stack billiard from Old Dominion. I just finished a bowl of Sterling's Bargain Blend in my Custombuilt lookalike.

I would be curious to hear your impression of the MacArthur, I have the same pipe but have never smoked it. I occasionally look at it and wonder.

I would be curious to hear your impression of the MacArthur, I have the same pipe but have never smoked it. I occasionally look at it and wonder. It smoked flawlessly. I do have to take the stem off to run my usual tapered BJ Long cleaner down the long shank but the bowl is fairly narrow like an MM Legend but nearly 3.95 inch bowl depth. I'll smoke it again a time or two this afternoon after doing some running and garden work. I don't think it holds as much tobacco as my freehand cob, the chamber is just too narrow.

Adding happy weekend greets to all. Full walks done, no-band 6x42 for company. To feed the Ed next, then CA in old Nording freehand & continue with the papers. Outside & organize new proof of insurance papers for sun visor in truck, might be it for outside anything today
45, clear, headed for 54 eventually
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY pipe/cigar since ??62
