sperrytops............I noticed it's out of stock. Was that just the 5 pounds, or all quantities? Earlier it was all in stock. Maybe they realized a mistake?!?!

I finally got a new meerschaum bowl for my gourd calabash. It has had a ceramic bowl since I got it 4 years ago. The ceramic bowl gets so hot that it cooks the tobacco. I had one that did that as well. A new processing for stoving tobacco.

I'm a bad boy . . . picked up more Astley's #44 and #109 and F&T Virginia Plug at the B&M. Ordered 3 tins of the C&D Small Batch release from one online retailer and C&D Bijou and Presbyterian from another . . .
Keep building that cellar . . . the barbarians are knocking at the door!

Last night when I arrived home, there was a parcel from trailboss waiting for me. When I went down there on IPSD and met up with the gang at Big Sticks, there was a guy rolling cigars in house. At the time, I really wanted to pick up a few but they weren't for sale yet. Well, Charlie stopped in and grabbed me one of each wrapper type and sent them along with two tins of snuff and El Chimo. Thanks so much, Charlie!!

Not sure, when I went and looked at it I tried the 5 pound option and it said out of stock. I got distracted and didn't check the others. When I went back it was all gone.

1 lb. of plum pudding special reserve on the way, to add to the 1/2 lb. I already have.
I'm going to continue to stock up on PP and Mississippi river, both regular and SR, until the end of the year.

A no-name freehand 9mm with "beautiful grain & shape" is on it's way from Germany. (Postage & duty makes buying pipes from the U.S. way too expensive. Most of my pipes are bought from two German fleabay sellers. Postage from Germany is $10-$14usd for up to 8 pipes) No, I don't need any more pipes but I can't help myself when I see a bargain. Only $18.50usd. I've just ordered 2oz of SPC Plum Pudding & 8oz of PS #306 English Oriental Supreme. Now it's a waiting game. Fingers crossed that it passes through Customs. (When intercepted, they send a duty invoice - $544aud for a pound) The freehand 9mm arrived from Germany. (With 6 x 9mm - 6mm reducers) It's a beauty. Looks like Customs has my English Oriental Supreme & Plum Pudding. (When tracking advises 'Departed Sydney' then gives another update saying "Processed through facility" it usually means Customs has it. It can take up to a fortnight before ones informed "Held by Customs") Oh well, no point in complaining. It's just part of doing business. It's more than annoying when they nab a blend that's often out of stock like Plum Pudding. And I was so looking forward to trying the English Oriental. Will just have to re-order on payday. Hope they've still got some Plum Pudding. The odd thing is is that not one of the fifty or more of the orders I've received from Europe has ever been inspected. Shame then that there's no on-line European tobacconists that I'm aware.

Well, well, well, guess what was at my door this morning?
I spoke too soon. 8oz of PS English Oriental & 2oz of Plum Pudding. The odour of latakia was particularly strong when I opened the box.
Thinking out loud here; I'm wondering if the strong odour of latakia would be more likely attract a sniffer dog, or as it smells like a campfire, is it less likely to trigger an alert? Let's face it, latakia has a one of a kind aroma.
