Fresh Gawith Hoggarth Black Twist in a mid-late 1970's Bonnie Briar Standard large rusticated billiard, paired with Founder's Backwoods Bastard ale aged in oak barrels. 11% ABV. Check the drinking thread for a further description. The pair are made for one another.
This beer is making this black twist taste like it has really sweet notes of vanilla and wood coming out of it. Stunning.

I have been smoking up some G&H samples don't even remember the name of the last couple. Just trying to get through some samples that are not bad but will not make the reorder list so I can fill those slots in my rotation box with some known winners.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee. Now, it's Friar's Bayou mix in a Weber Deep Grain apple. Gonna work on some estate pipes and help with some Christmas decorating stuff today.  |
