I’ve always liked the looks of Makarovs, but have never owned one. They look like they would sit very nicely in the hand. And of course CZ workmanship is excellent.

I traded mine to my FIL for a Winchester 94 and his crack-er, working girl girlfriend stole it. Nice shooter and the limitation on accuracy was the tiny sights.

I’ve always liked the looks of Makarovs, but have never owned one. They look like they would sit very nicely in the hand. And of course CZ workmanship is excellent. I have had 2 Makarovs. They were good. The CZ83 is better.

About 10 percent, give or take, depending on the ammo. For instance Buffalo Bore 380 slightly beats the cheapest 9x18. But overall the 9x18 is slightly more powerful. I don't think that the target could tell the difference. You can but 380 barrels to retrofit to 380 which has much better ammunition choices.
