No offense taken.
I hated Disco back in the day. Strictly Jazz and Bluegrass.

I liked disco. I still listen to Saturday Night Fever and Donna Summer. It's feel good music, like Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Chubby Checker.

The wife did a homemade version pf Carl’s Jr Western bacon cheeseburger for me, non for herself. Cheeseburger with onion ring and bbq sauce, better than Carl’s!…which I really like.

Lunch in town at a tiny barbeque joint which opened last Saturday. Excellent Brisket, tender, lean and sweet. With cheese grits and beans on the side. They have three tables. I shall return.

Last night was tinned stuffed cabbage rolls with browned and seasoned ground beef mixed in. Some left over which was combined with scrambled eggs this morning. Good it was. If anyone enjoys stuffed cabbage, Galil Foods offers some good ones and are available at their website. Home made is always best but there are easy and quick.

The Polish version of stuffed cabbage is golumki and my late mother-in-law made the best.

Just finished cheesy scrambled eggs with ham, bits of leftover fried potato, and small bowl of blueberries on the side that kept rolling off of my fork and onto my lap.

Short ribs are braising in the oven. We'll have mashed potatoes and mashed cauliflower with it. And a nice salad of mixed greens. And sourdough bread.

That high priced Colorado turkey is oven the oven. Oyster and Clam Stuffing in the boid and in a casserole dish. Yukon Gold taters about to be put to boil. Turkey stock on the cooker all day with the neck, wingtips, giblets, and shallots. Gravy gonna happen eventually when I claim the pan drippings. Broccoli to be steamed. I doubt I can eat it all but will give it a try. The bird will be sectioned when cooled and stored for future dishes. I envision a Pot Pie and either Tamales or Tamale Pie. Pulled the cork on a half bottle of Glenlivet 12 year old. Enjoying a taste now. Which is why I am in a good mood.
