That high priced Colorado turkey is oven the oven. Oyster and Clam Stuffing in the boid and in a casserole dish. Yukon Gold taters about to be put to boil. Turkey stock on the cooker all day with the neck, wingtips, giblets, and shallots. Gravy gonna happen eventually when I claim the pan drippings. Broccoli to be steamed. I doubt I can eat it all but will give it a try. The bird will be sectioned when cooled and stored for future dishes. I envision a Pot Pie and either Tamales or Tamale Pie. Pulled the cork on a half bottle of Glenlivet 12 year old. Enjoying a taste now. Which is why I am in a good mood. Sounds like a fine evening.

Light sups after usual big brunch with the gals. Zweigles skin-on white dawg, no bun, just a little brown sugar on the bite-size cut up pieces, more f.ball, Cowboys vs Eagles with another Coke

Thanks. I've had brats in the freezer for a couple of years and didn't know what to do with them. Tip: Take a toothpick and poke some holes through the casing of the thawed bratwurst. That allows the flavors to get into the sausages, and whatever fat to melt out. It makes a difference.

Schwan guy must have known my problem with ordering online, stopped by. Had enough of my usual items already on truck. Gonna have a #751 mac-cheese with added #411 sausage links mixed in, is 6mins in nukerizer. To TV, usual newsfeeds & onward

Pot roast with a prime Chuck shoulder that was on a good sale. Lots of onion, celery, and carrot in the crock pot with a side of rice makes for a great hearty dinner.
