A reheated small Sirloin Steak smothered in the New Jersey Gravy made last week with a baked potato half, spinach and sprouted English Peas. Good it was, too.

Is the name topographical or appetitive? Topographical. The Town of Taos is located next to the Rio Grande River Gorge, some 400 feet deep.

Mid morning breakfast of one poached egg, Chipotla British Breakfast Banger, Black Pudding, Back Bacon, Bush's Original (no tomato sauce) Beans mixed with Heinz. The variety of flavors is appealing. The quantity reads like a lot but the Banger is the size of a regular US Hotdog, the bacon is sliced thin so less than it might appear.
I have to add that since stopping most gluten products some days ago, I feel way better. FYI, fellow stomach sufferers. I also reduced Nightshade Family items to a minimum.

The Bar Blender I ordered arrived. My cheap home model could not handle making fruit Smoothies. So, I am looking forward to these. They are so much easier on my body than many solid foods.

Alone last night, I grilled some salmon on the sandwich press, simmered a medley of fresh snap peas, white corn, and thin sliced carrots, with butter, garlic, and a dash of brown sugar, and added a side of leftover beets that my wife got from a local roadside stand...everything was tasty, but the beets stole the show; I'm really fond of beets in butter sauce.

Mid morning snack of quesadillas made with corn tortillas (probably has a name, but my dad always called 'em cheese roll ups), with a side my father-in-law's kickin' habanero salsa. Strong tea with milk to drink.

Went to town to pick up medications, buy fresh fruit and vegies for the blender including KALE. Kale good in green smoothies, more soy milk and apple juice. Found a real Porterhouse Steak in the Green Meat section so I snagged it. Un Christianly expensive still but looks good. I have not seen one of these in years here or in Alamosa Co. Anyway, I lunched on Smith's Supermarket Sushi made in house that morning by real Japanese people. They were there working, so I made a shallow bow before selecting my raw salmon Nigari roll and cooked vegie with rice roll. They both stopped working smiled and returned the bow. Always nice to meet polite people. The Sushi was quite good and that, too, was a treat.
I have a cut up chicken marinating in Criolo Mojo. Work this afternoon permitting, I will light the Weber this evening. Also a treat.

toshtego That mojo marinade is good stuff! Snagged a can of B&M beans at the market today based on your laudatory treatment of them here. Stoked to try 'em later in the week. Smoothie pro tip - if you use lots of blueberries, your smoothie will gel up and solidify if not consumed promptly. Natural pectin in the skins turn it into smoothie pudding. Still yummy, just solid.

The chicken turned out great. 40 minutes indirect low heat followed by over-the-coals grilling. Then Stubb's Sauce since I had no lemon which was the right finish, I am sure.

Heh. I have trouble putting you and sushi together in my head. I don’t have any but I know Williams-Sonoma is supposed to be really good cookware. Glad you two had a pleasant time.
