Lunch in town while seeing MD. Mexican Combo plate at "La Azteca". Very good.
The MD was less fun. In addition to the endoscopy and colonoscopy, I need a Nuclear Stress Test and a sonogram of my Gall Bladder. Doctor is not ruling out cardiac problems. My EKG came out a little unusual. I was advised to visit the ER in town if the pain gets worse.

Saturday night ice cream! I took a break from watching the Yankees vs Astros game and drove up to the local ice cream joint that make its own. Our granddaughter works there, so we always get it for free when she's on her shift. I had the chocoholic chunk and my wife had cherry vanilla. Yum!

to be usual smaller version of Denny's "grand slam" in about 1/2hr. Our goal as routine, easy prep & cleanup. Have been munching on store brand frosted mini-wheats on/off for awhile as couple of morning meds "with food"

Saturday night ice cream! I took a break from watching the Yankees vs Astros game and drove up to the local ice cream joint that make its own. Our granddaughter works there, so we always get it for free when she's on her shift. I had the chocoholic chunk and my wife had cherry vanilla. Yum! I have an electric ice cream maker that I picked up at a thrift store for a few bucks, never used it. When I add up the price of the ingredients to make it, I cannot touch the price of Tillamook Ice cream that regularly goes on sale. Maybe some day with the grandkids…🤨 Free ice cream is hard to beat though.😉 |

A stress test on treadmill following a radioactive isotope injected to illuminate the heart and arteries. Dinner at Mrs. Rios Thai Kitchen, San Luis, CO. Tom Yum soup with vegetables and Massaman Curry with tofu and shrimp. Enough leftover for tomorrow's lunch to which pulled roast chicken will be added. I cannot consume the volume I once was known for.

Had some good Ravioli made by an Italian woman down the street, garlic bread, Caesar salad.
Fixing to go to Silver City NM> Hatch> Truth Or Consequences in the morning.
Predictably, Mexican food in T or C tomorrow, not a lot of options.

Back home, leftover ravioli, and garlic bread for dinner. Did you end up grabbing any chilis this trip? I haven't seen any roasting going on around here yet. |
