Breakfast was a nice ground beef patty and a potato patty. While it was great tasting, probably not the best choice just now and I am paying for it. I may have to go on smoothies for a day or two. Could be worse. It can always be worse.

No lunch. Supper was boiled Yukon Gold Potatoes tossed with melted butter, parsley, salt and pepper. Boiled Savoy Cabbage. So far, so good! Good for you. You eat a lot of meat, greasy fatty stuff regularly that would whack my gut very badly. Best to you.

I went to a restaurant in Phoenix today, the food was great, they executed a chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and toast at a scrumptious level. The service was excellent and the restaurant has to deal with voter approved minimum wage increases. And factor in, inflation. $30 for breakfast (with tip) at lunchtime, not on the company expense since I was local. Another situation where I can afford it, but cannot justify it.

Charlie, the need for “justification” is highly overrated.

Sounds like a great meal. Perhaps more expensive than we are used to but that is the way of it now.

BLTs and chips after a lot of hard labor in the yard today. Tearing out the flower bed in our front courtyard and mulching. Just keeping weeds down until we put a Trex deck on the front of the house.
