Made a pot of chili today, slightly hot, with red and black beans. Turned out okay...I'll add some brown rice and toco cheese to the leftovers and make some burritos for the weekend...good thing it's just me and the dogs around here for a few days.

Herb, that sounds like a good Fall meal. Me? Preparing a large pot of split pea with a large ham shank, lotsa veggies and a potato. Home made chicken stock. Then it will go into the food processor or maybe a stick blender. Seasoned with hoibs and Bay leaves. Keeping it mild for my distressed stomach region.

Chili dogs, fries, onion ring combo.
At the Kopper Keg Casino, Henderson Nevada.
Head home tomorrow.
Tough run, I was really hammered. A patient that was scheduled as my 4th stop tomorrow ran out of medicine. I hauled arse today, and serviced 16 patients, 11,000 pounds of product delivered… all done, on the bright side all I have to do tomorrow is have breakfast and spur the horse south.

Great neighbor turned me on to that & thought they were nuts. I make a point to have a pbj, whenever I have rye bread on hand; every lover of peanut-butter needs to try that, it's special... for me, last night's supper was ham and eggs. Tonight I just made a meal of some leftover roasted potatoes and carrots...eating alone is for the birds. I just reread your post...and no, never had tomato and peanut-butter, but on rye I bet it works fine!
