Schwan (2) toaster waffles one cycle, add two #411 sausage links, butter/real syrup, nuke to plateful of mess. K-cup cocoa,to back room, eat & to the papers.

weekly dinner dad we went to the new Thai restaurant that opened near my house. I had something i never had before and kinda suprised I never ordered it before tonight as I love the ingredients a garlic chicken dish that the name escapes me now as it was in Thai. Pad something not pad thai noodles it was chunks of chicken in a garlic sauce it was really good. my dad got the pad thai chicken. Edit to add. I found it forgot I had the take out menu on my phone. I have no idea why that banner is above. Anyway, breakfast was Nueskes Corned Beef Hash with two poached eggs. A little pricey but so very good. |

On a date with the Deere had a 5 or 7 alarm burger and it was actually the hottest burger and lived up to its name. I have always been disappointed in the past. Only eaten at this place 4 times and always had great service and really good food.

Two poached eggs on polenta with a red chile pork tamale on the side. ONE cup of Cafe con Leche. Kefir for desert. Pills! Musn't forget the serving of pills.

Another big brunch earlier with the ol'gals, will be Zweigles white dawg, on rye bread, 8mins on the small indoor G.Forman grill, side of Musselmans smooth applesauce, store brand tea & choco chip cookies later with more f.ball for company. Now 45, windy & light rain. Still some #007 Schwan ice cream cones left in back freezer if/when warm enuf!

Lunch was more of my pasta fagioli zuppa with a thin salami and provolone on sourdough rye, one slice only. Feeling OK with it which is a hopeful sign.
There are breaded chicken filets on hand. Was thinking of making a little Southern Tomato Gravy as a topping. Boiled Gold taters and spinach. That is the plan. I shall see what comes of it!

The last beef Cube Steak sauteed in Zucchini Ikra. Whole wheat spaghetti on the side. A spreadable sauce made from zucchini, carrot, eggplant, tomato and onion. A great substitute for Italian tomato based sauces which are too acidic for me. Ikra is originally Armenian but the Russians have adopted it along with Turks and others of the Levant and Eastern Europe. This batch was made in Hungary and imported by Galil of upstate NY.

Got some quail going on the grill. Easy to raise, easy to butcher. Pretty tasty also. Does take a few for a meal though.
