Stogies and humidor arrived. It turned out I did not still have a torch lighter anywhere (not that I could find, anyway). One of those arrived, too. I was very surprised to discover it already has fuel in it. Fire! About a month and a half ago I ordered six Clipper pipe lighters from GQ Tobacco in the UK. I was quite surprised to find all of them had fuel in them. |

Zarnicky just ordered new pipe. Is Savinelli Alligator Brown 310KS. Pipe having 6mm filter. Zarnicky liking alligators. In Florida they using alligators to making handbags. It amazing what they can train animal to do. Here is picture of pipe.  |

The problem with having a nice cellar is sometimes making a decision on what to open next. 3 years ago I did not have a cellar just a few tins but with the help and encouragement of my fellow pipe smoker's that has changed.

Ordered some Rattray’s 3 Noggins, Professional Mixture, and Accountant’s Mixture from Cup ‘o Joe’s. Those are three of my favorite blends. AM was my standard for many years. |

I have some Erinmore, but have yet to crack it. That's the one people say tastes like Juicy Fruit, right? (For our non-American members, that was a popular chewing. Extremely sweet and vaguely redolent of some unidentifiable fruit-like matter.) |

Erinmore does have a fruit like tone to it but does not remind my of Juicy Fruit Gum by any means. Some folks think it is cured with pineapple since there is an image of something pineapple like on the tin. I need a break from the latakia dominate blends on hand. |

If anyone is interested, Erinmore is flavored with Isoamyl Acetate, often sold as a flavoring under the name “Pear Drops” and is a version of banana oil, such as Ethyl Butyrate and Isoamyl Butyrate. Juicy Fruit gum is flavored with the same flavoring family. Just like virtually all fruity flavored tobaccos, actually most flavored tobacco, there’s little to no natural flavoring in them.
