Rompers Roundels is a great tobacco. I have not heard that name mentioned in a while, nice score on the pipe also.

I’ve never had the blend before, but I figured I couldn’t go wrong with VaPer coins with Black Cav center probably 10+ years old. Plus, my priority was to spend money at the shop. I felt like I stole the pipe though as Dan is running an extra special 95th anniversary sale for Arrowhead Pipe Club members. The pipe had a $60 price tag to start. Better pics of the pipe:   |

There are flavors that work for some people and drastically not for others. Licorice, cilantro, etc. (both of which I like) I tried the Wilke Peanut Butter last year for the same reason and when I got the box with the tobacco in it, I instantly recognized a flavoring used along with the peanut butter flavor that I have a very negative reaction to and I couldn’t smell anything else for a while, it was overwhelming and drowned out everything. Even though I fairly quickly vacuum sealed it and sent it to someone here on the patch who likes it, the smell lingered in my house for days. It was my most traumatic tobacco experience, beating out Half and Half, which tastes like burning plastic to me. I hope for you that you are in the group that has a positive experience with it. |

If you like Virginias, there's a good chance you'll like it. To me, it tastes like the April Fools joke I thought it was when I heard about it. Everyone is different. I can't stand Escudo, but I like all the other spun coin tobaccos. I don't like Stonehaven or Mixture 79. |

Latest tobacco purchase arrived today. Nothing like John's haul. Bulk quantities of Red and Bright Virginias, Dark Burley, Izmir Turkish and Perique for blending. Haunted Bookshop, Oak Alley and GLP Cumberland for the cellar. Also picked up a couple 2 Oz. cans - Innsmouth and Mad Fiddler Flake from C&D.

My Wilke PB arrived today while I'm at work. At lunch, I called home to check on things and say Hi. My wife said the box smells amazing and now I'm stuck picking up PB cookies to take home after work. 😄
