These snapperheads will stop at nothing to promote a false narrative.
Whenever you see a political movement geared in promoting these tactics, you know that they are full of shite, and they will probably be effective because there are so many willing to gobble up the excrement as pontificated by “wise sages”.

I delivered to a patient the other day, the husband was a veteran and his shirt declared that he was for the 2nd amendment. I shared to him about how my son had to jump through hoops to ship me some ammo that he wanted to send. I told him that the carriers seem to be anti ammo and anti tobacco. He went on a screed about how he hates tobacco … “ I don’t mind people that vape, but these tobacco smokers are assholes, they do not care about the health of others and I do not want to be around their smoke.” I told him “Turn it around, I don’t like gun owners, I hate the fact that they can carry around me, I want them to respect my right not to be around these people.” You would have thunk I cut a loud fart in church. Glad I am where I am at, I really don’t care about offending people that are so shallow in their thinking, as long as his ox isn’t being gored, he didn’t give a damn. Individual liberties are great within his confines. |

As a LGBTQ+ smoker of flavored tobacco, I'm more concerned about government performing genital checks and menstrual tracking on minors than I am about public health policy aimed at reducing initiation of cigarette smoking.

In reality the “ban” will come from the private side. It’s getting more common to have no nicotine as a condition of employment and nicotine users are priced out of the insurance market.  |

I rarely read things like this because life is far to short. What always makes me laugh is the insult to the groups (which change based on whatever study they want) they insult in the process.
Its saying that if a chicken place advertises best chicken in town , and I don't go, so they then double the commercial advertisement and start saying hey best chicken for 37 year old white dudes named Travis. I admit this might catch my attention more, but I can still decide. The idea that then a separate group all together has to come up and say 37 year old white guys name Travis are to stupid to decide. This place is going to trick them , they are to ignorant as a group to decide on their own. We must step in to save them the poor things.
So then somehow the entire chicken place has to be stopped, or taxed higher because 37 year old white guys name Travis are to stupid to decide for themselves. So every person not 37 or white or a dude , or named Travis. They also have to be effected by this because blah blah blah Travis is to stupid to decide for themselves. Imagine your group being decided on as being so dumb the entire product has to be removed from existence to protect you from your own dumbness.
So in this scenario I can be mad at the restaurant, which hey they are just trying to sell some chicken. Or mad at the group who thinks I am to stupid to decide on my own. And with each time they convince me I am indeed to stupid the next time will be far easier. Seems easy choice on who to be mad at.

What fascinates me is that we love to rage against the machine and curse blights on those that want to take our tobacco away. Only they don't seem to want to take our tobacco away. There s a resurgent interest in pipes; many more blends and pipe makers than ever before. Laws against us don't ever seem to go beyond the chatter phase. Maybe we should be thankful to the cigar industry for their huge lobbying machine.
