Good Morning! It's 37° with a cloudy sky and more rain is on the way. This afternoon I have one more appointment to finally set up but, when I call, I get switched to a voicemail line and never get called back. Don't make me come down there! Anyway, I'm smoking the first pipe of the day, a bowl of about 50/50 Haunted Bookshop and Bayou Morning Flake, in the Peterson Rosslare 106. There's also a fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.

"Gaslight" in my one and only Dunhill, a Canadian. Pipe was purhcased in Stratford Upon Avon and sold to me by a reluctant English Tobbaconist certain I was not worthy of such an exhaulted pipe being American and therefor beneath the minimum social standard required. Paid 150 GB Pounds for it.

Good Saturday Morning! It's 42° here with a light rainfall and high winds with more rain are in the forecast. Later this afternoon I'll watch a Cleveland Guardians ball game that I recorded last night. In the backyard workshop with the heater running and it's snug and dry. The first pipe of the day is HH Pure VA Flake in the regularly scheduled Don Carlos Two Note and there's a fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.

GREEK INDEPENDENCE WAR 1821-2023 Anniversary As today at 25 March 1821 the Orthodox Greeks officially started the revolution against the ottoman empire fighting the muslim turks and their allies (from albania, bosnia, tunisia, egypt, croatia, algeria etc) to end an almost 400 year old tyranny. Their motto was "Freedom of Death" and in few areas that the turks never manage to invade was "Victory or Death". I am smoking Pöschl Exclusiv Mixture No. 7 (Plum & Rum) and at dinner i will raise a glass of red wine for the fallen fellow countrymen in the battlefield and those which tortured till death in prisons.

Just got back from the local flea market where I was looking for estate pipes - no luck, not may vendors today. Picked up an author shape Dr. Grabow Berwyck pipe at an antique store. It will need a new stem because of bite marks. I'll send it to the factory to get the stem replaced. Currently smoking some Carter Hall in a Dunhill Shell bent billiard.
