3-Star Blue, in a rusticated apple from Brebbia, coffee #1 on the side...I slept mighty late this morning.

Took my two daughters to the downtown main library this morning and we spent nearly three hours there. Picked up a couple more books for myself and about six between them in total.
I'm currently smoking some 2017 Bayou Morning Flake leftovers mixed with a tiny pinch of something else leftovers but can't recall what it was, in a Mark Twain.

My dog is slowly getting better today. His coughing spells have diminished and he has a good appetite. Wish he would drink more water. About to light up a bowl of Rattray's Accountant Mixture in a Dr. Grabow Hillcrest Canadian.

The Beast in a Kaywoodie Saxon sandblasted panel. Very pungent and fresh Perique. One bowl sitting out in my office airing out and my wife asked what smelled like "s*** and vomit."

I'm guessing you did not reply, "Your upper lip."

I'm guessing you did not reply, "Your upper lip." Not this time.
The Perique is so strong and fresh that it does have a fermented and manure property to the smell of it.Taste is pretty smooth. Dark fruits, dark and sweet. Hard to discern much rum as you taste mostly pure Perique at least up front and initially. I'll have to smoke a few more full bowls to get a feel for the other components. I can tell the red and black cavendish along with Kentucky leaf are drawing the Perique flavor out but they simply do more to showcase the Perique.
EDIT: At half bowl, lots of depth of dark chocolate covered dark fruits and sweetness.

The dark fruit is my preferred Perique flavor. The peppery stuff can be good, but more as a change of pace.

It's peppery and dark fruit all the way. You get both. Very chameleon like, complex. Fantastic.

GLP Stratford from 2016 in A Yorktown Canadian...a tin from Rande Reed's estate, ceremoniously opened by Greg Pease himself at the last Vegas show. I take it monthly to the pipe club meetings and offering it, never any takers...so I take one for the team. I suspect everyone got spoiled in the cellar windfall.

My dog has had a miraculous recovery from his kennel cough thanks to being on antibiotics for 24 hours. He hasn't coughed since early this morning! Currently smoking Esoterica Dorchester in a Jeantet Lovat.

My dog is slowly getting better today. His coughing spells have diminished and he has a good appetite. Wish he would drink more water. About to light up a bowl of Rattray's Accountant Mixture in a Dr. Grabow Hillcrest Canadian. Buster has relapsed into long spells of coughing this week . On Monday I'm taking to the Vet, to ask if they'll test him for a disorder called Cushing's...he seems thirsty, and more hungry than usual, and in addition to the coughing, he's panting a lot... I'm Smoking a mix of burleys with 3-Star Blue, first in my Kristi freehand, then in the Caminetto 147.

This is caused by a growth in the pituitary gland (which is in the brain). In our case, it was controlled with what is effectively a chemotherapy drug. A few drops of liquid orally everyday. Drugs can control but there is no cure. Unfortunately, our story does not end well as she ended up being one of the uncommon cases where the growth turns into a brain tumor.

I hope he does not have Cushings disease; it is very serious. Buddy caught bordetella (kennel cough) when I boarded him last weekend.

In spite of his blindness, he's a happy little guy, and so dear to us that we'd do most anything to save him from pain...keep a good thought , and thanks again!

Good Sunday Morning! It's 34° here with a clear sky and the howling high winds have subsided but not before we lost power over night. I'll have to see if the garbage bins are still in our yard before I make a supermarket run this afternoon. Starting this smoking day with a bowl of Peterson Flake in a Savinelli Venere 128 and there's a fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.
