"Gaslight" in a Treaty Bond Fisherman. Good stuff this, my first tin. Given to me by a generous compatriot on this forum a few years back.

Good morning. Finishing up the last of the coffee along with a bit of McConnell's Scottish Flake in a Peterson 264.... That is a handsome pipe. Gotta hand it to Petersson.

Since I finished off my open Christmas Cheer 2009, I needed to open another red Va. I decided to pop open a SPC Hogshead; split the 4oz plug in half and put half back into the cellar. Enjoying a bowl in my Eltang bent Acorn (Snail grade).

Busy weekend with family activities. Fortunately, most of the activities were conducive to pipe smoking. I got to try samples of Mallard Flake w/ Perique (nice), The Beast (potent) and Eric Stokkebye Resolution (couldn't get past the tin note), along with the usual blends. Just finishing up some Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob. I'm going to have some Sutliff Anomalous in one of my Dublins.

Good Morning! It's a chilly 42° here with the usual cloudy sky. Not much planned for the day except for some kitchen clean-up. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of the Haunted Bookshop and Bayou Morning Flake mix in the Amorelli Three Star and there's a fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.

I'm smoking a Virginia/perique mix, I jarred back in the pipes.org days, to honor a fellow member who's handle was Mike Castello. I used C & D's blending perique, but I don't recall what Va. The mix has grown dark and pungent with time, and the smoke is rich and plummy...hot coffee close by.
The jar is labeled " Pipe Sunday " as this was the tag of Mike's Sunday Morning thread.

Good Morning Again! It's 44° and raining here in our town. I'm finishing my time in the workshop with a short bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Amorelli. This is a favorite smoke of mine... dependable, flavorful, and of medium body and depth. Since I've been up since 4:00 am, I'll drink the last of me coffee and then head back to the house. Good-bye for now, everyone!
