Urb's post reminded me to grab a pipe that has not been smoked recently, it is a great smoker, I just have not switched out pipes much, a GBD New Standard 357 prince. We became empty nesters last weekend, as my daughter, her husband, and two kids moved out after 3 years. Went digging through the closet that was my granddaughter's and found four boxes of tobacco that had been put there in overflow before they moved in...the first box had 4 jars of McClellands Red Cake from 2013, the chunks were gooey, like a brownie, the "shake" was at the perfect moisture content...off to the races, what a great smoke! The prince has turned out to be my favorite pipe shape, I think. Its elegance ill suits me, but I sure like the look of it. That one looks like a dandy.

Was out hiking a trail here in Northern Indiana for a few hours this afternoon near the Wabash reservoir, at a trail called Lost Sister's. My wife found one morel, but we just couldn't find any more out there today. We're going to hike a few more spots over the next week or two and see if we can't find a few clutches. I was smoking 2021 Haunted Bookshop in a Let Freedom Ring cob today.
Last night I was smoking 2021 Ennerdale Flake in a Merkur 2000 bent heeled apple and may continue with more of that in a few.

Smoking some more Schwab's Paul's Stuff in a Dr. Grabow billiard. This blend is much better after airing out for 24 hours!

Nice find! I know that you know what you are doing so this not directed towards you.Years ago, when I worked in foodservice, a chef in SF decided to grow some mushrooms to serve in the restaurant, but he did not know what he is doing and as I recall it was severe consequences for the diners to the degree that it caused liver problems for the diners. I would love to taste some wild mushrooms by people in the know...I bet they are scrumptious!

Bankside In The elf cobbit. Heard the reviews on pipe and tamper podcast, sounds like a great blend! But it is a Pease blend, he really continually raises the bar! Looking forward to seeing him in Vegas!

Looking forward to seeing him in Vegas! it is a a good blend it’s just not clicking for me so it’s taking a while to finish this tin/jar. I don’t see myself buying more I’m glad it exists but it ain’t for me and that’s ok.

Good Sunday Morning! It's a chilly 36° here with a partly cloudy sky. My dearest wife is going to the supermarket this afternoon and I'm going to get the laundry done. I'll also check the listings for a ball game. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the Stanwell Silver Mount and there's a fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.

Good Morning, I'm smoking Three Star Blue in a Ben Wade Reflection, a pipe I loaded last evening...for today I've pulled a jar labeled "Pipe Sunday", a homemade VA/PER, a mix that was born back in the active days of pipes.org. I've yet to pick a pipe for today, but I do have 8 0 Clock coffee in my cup.

Smoking some Schwab's Paul's Stuff in a Cayuga apple. I'm enjoying this complex English blend the more I smoke it. Drinking some blackberry and lemon flavored carbonated water.

Been bouncing between Haunted Bookshop and Friar's Bayou in a cob the last couple days. So far, the only exception was a bowl of GH Best Brown #2 in the Pete System Spigot B42.
