Dogs woke me up wanting to go out, so I'm smoking some Five Brothers in an El Morjane Algerian billiard.

Good Morning! It's 36° here with a cloudy sky, more rain is on the way soon, and the workshop heater is on. Not much on the chore list, but I have some phone calls to make. The first pipe of the day is Peterson Flake in the Upshall Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.

McClellands, Beacon 2009 in a Tonni Neilsen Dublin when he worked at WO Larsen. All kidding aside, I’ve never tried it. Would appreciate your thoughts on it please.

Morning all. Golfing with Wednesday Seniors later today. Unlike some of you still waiting for Spring, forecast calling for sun topping out at 72 F (22 C). SPC Plum Pudding and Mississippi River to keep me company. Happy Hump Day for those still working.

The last of my Sunday jar mix in the Kristi freehand, coffee from the one-hitter this morning. Fifty-one degrees here at the moment, but it feels like thirty-one to me!

Good Morning Again! It's a whole entire 37° now with a cloudy sky and occasional rain all day. I watched a couple of YouTube movies and soon I'll check out the headline news here in the workshop. Currently smoking a bowl of my Bayou Bookshop, about a 50/50 mix of Bayou Morning Flake and Haunted Bookshop, in the Upshall Dublin. There's still some coffee left in the mug to finish up before heading back to the house. Have a good, safe one everybody!

Starting this beautiful day in a cloud of smoke but not from my old diesel engine! "English Luxury" once again in a French Billiard.
Also, please, is EGR Blend still produced and who sells it? I cannot remember. A blend I miss and would like to order.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee. Cool and cloudy today, still to wet to work in the yard. Playing around in the workshop.

Country Squire Green Dragon in this carved hardwood (birthday gift from my wife). First VA-forward blend I've tried and it was very enjoyable. 🐉

I had a bowl of Alexander's Bridge, this morning, in the 804, and I just finished some Cherry Blend in a lattice meer.

I'm trying out some OTC blends in hopes that maybe I have cheap tastes and will be just as happy smoking codger blends as I would be with the more premium blends. I picked up packs of H&H, SWR,and CH and will be smoking them in the same MM cob for consistency. Started out today with H&H and it has a heavy spiced dried fruit smell like a cross between a fruitcake and fig newton. The flavor is pretty consistent with the pouch and gets more subdued/tolerable on the back half. Very thick smoke that's easy to light and keep lit. Oh well, fairly cheap experiment and maybe I'll find SWR and CH more agreeable.

Another taxing day at work followed by physical therapy for my back, but I feel great! Smoking some Five Brothers in a Dr. Grabow Eldorado. Went to a "Smoke Shop" in town today looking for some Prince Albert and was told that they didn't carry it. The big store is called a Smoke Shop but it looks to me to be more of a Vape/Cigarette/Head shop with few real pipe tobaccos or premium cigars.

Granger is one that I enjoy occasionally, especially when I’m feeling a little burnt out on what I’ve been smoking. The old codger/OTC blends (some of them) have their own special charm.

McClellands, Beacon 2009 in a Tonni Neilsen Dublin when he worked at WO Larsen. All kidding aside, I’ve never tried it. Would appreciate your thoughts on it please. I suck at reviews… I can read reviews on tobaccoreviews and in retrospect, say “yeah he nailed it”, but in the moment, I just get lost. Beacon is a fine smoke, and in my opinion is a “sleeper” in the McClelland’s lineup. You really don’t hear it mentioned much online, but in my books it ranks up there as a top notch vaper. The last time I cracked a tin at a pipe club meeting, it was gone muy pronto.
