My second smoke this week: Wilke 436 in a Peterson 264. Nice to have temps near normal again so I can actually enjoy the back deck with a pipe.... That is a handsome pipe. Less chunky than Petersons usually are. Thanks, Urb. It smokes well....

Good Sunday Morning! It's 54° here with a cloudy sky and we may get a rain shower sometime soon. This afternoon my dear wife is going to cut my mop of hair and then I'll spend time at the hobby bench. Getting the smoking day going with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a great day, everybody!

Fribourg & Treyer Vintage 2013, in a Yorktown Canadian. I really enjoyed Vintage, back in the day; they had one called BLACKJACK, I think, that was also very good... On this fine Sunday morning I'm smoking a combo of Alexander Bridge and Derby Club Aromatic in a dressy bent bulldog from Camanetto. The pipe is marked with B-L 14, and has a smooth rim over a business sandblast with twin bead-lines...the usual stem inlay , is white, instead of gold or silver, and the stain is black. Fresh Yuban in the cup

Back in the day, the blend was named Negrohead. They switched the name to Blackjack something like 12-15 years ago. It’s still available. I’ve been putting off opening an aged tin for the past couple years with having so many opened red Virginias already but I need to remedy that soon.
Coffee and a couple of those last pipes from last night that I’m finishing up this morning. Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday morning.

Happy Lord’s Day To All n One... A nice bowl o Cube Cut in my Linkman Fifty Grand... A large cup of black coffee on the side.... A cool 81° F which is a nice break from the upper 90’s we’ve been having. Now if we can have the barometric pressure get steady, then maybe we can breathe a little better ...
