And some Carter Hall in a Savinelli Punto Oro 128: Another beautiful pipe! Thanks, Ted. I've been lucky to catch some nice ones available. I'm not sure why this one didn't go into the Giubileo range. Here's the other side:

urbino I have 4 Savinelli pipes and they all smoke well. All estate pipes I could never afford the Punto Oro gold and silver new.

I know I don't own one. The Punto Oros are real bargains on the estate market. Even the prices on the Giubileo Oros are awfully good for what you're getting. The sandblasts, especially.

Good Morning! It's 52° here with a mostly cloudy sky. This afternoon I have to go to BJ'S, pick up our order, haul it into the house, and then collapse in my chair. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Upshall smooth quarter-bent Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

Happy Monday, all! A busy weekend in the books (Haunted Bookshop, Friar's Bayou and Briar Fox alongside). Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 61, breezy and sunny here. I'll be in the garden for awhile today, catching up on some work.

Derby Club Aromatic in a smooth Starfire bulldog from Dr Grabow, for a long needed dump run, and a quick closeout run on a Food Lion on the other side of town. The old Starfire is one of my all-time favorite bulldogs!

Thanks, Ted. I've been lucky to catch some nice ones available. I'm not sure why this one didn't go into the Giubileo range. Here's the other side: I love finding undergraded pipes. There are several pipes in my collection that I wouldn’t own if they were graded properly.

My 50/50 blend of 2004 Old Dublin and 2015 Magnum Opus. In the Savinelli 320 Trevi Rustic. Sitting on the deck at the cabin. Watching the wind chop up the water on Shadow Mountain Lake. Sipping a 50/50 blend of Old Tub and Old Camp Pecan Peach whiskey. Good for a windy and somewhat cool day in the mountains.

Not one for ever smoking cigarettes, looked up on the bookshelf tonight and saw some produced by Mark Ryan of Daughters and Ryan...he was selling them for $1 a pack at the West Coast pipe show (2017?), and I bought some going out the door...wish I had bought more...a great smoke. Cellophane wrapped, I suppose that I should vac seal them.
