Good Sunday Morning! It's 20°, windy with a light snowfall, and the temperature is continuing to drop here. We also have about an inch of snow that fell over night. All of the workshop heating gear is keeping me comfortable. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my insulated work coat. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's now 14° and still windy, but the light snow has stopped. Later on this afternoon I have to make a supermarket run, but not before I take a nap and have brunch. Currently smoking a bowl of Straight Grain Flake in the Peterson smooth billiard while occasionally sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

GL Pease Ashbury in a Pete Canadian. I’ve gone back to work now, and the weather has been nasty. This is my first pipe in a couple of weeks. Cheers!

Good day to hibernate. About the same here too, Pete. I'd do some hibernation myself, but we need a few grocery items and I may stop at Home Depot for a new snow shovel and a bag of rocksalt before it all disappears.

Hope all having a nice Sunday. In emergency, no unnesessary travel, winds up to 50mph with steady 35. Snowed in, can't open front door, if emergency, back door passible. Do have plenty of food for a week as big haul home Sat. No walks, can't even see buildings across the street with the high winds. Of course plenty baccy & gars.
Now 10Russians in Ascorti spot-carved billiard, even 'tho wind-chill around -10, a Coke to side. Will write a few bill-pay checks, read Sunday paper, maybe clean meers & cobs, plenty to keep me outa trouble. No power outages so far in town, just 0 degrees vision to outside.
Ed-dealt with it before, Buffalo itself sure worse

S.V. Black & Gold/ Sutliff Estate Blend mix, in a Caminetto 120, a slightly bent Dublin with a forward canted bowl. The burley adds a nice layer of nutty flavor to the somewhat lackluster value blend, but there's nothing that could become a daily practice about this.

It sounds like Ed has this prep thing figured out! The game up the road in Buffalo was rescheduled for tomorrow… watched the KC game yesterday, that was probably by far the coldest day on the gridiron for all of them.
Smoking some aged Picayune in my PCoL POY by Savinelli… smoked it for the first time yesterday, it smoked beautifully… more in line with their high end pipes without that price tag.
The club staff manages to always snare a good contract, and I think it is a source of pride for the companies and carvers to make the best possible pipe with that contract.

Peretti's #8 slice's in sandblasted B42 Pete with coffee. Then put up Christmas stuff along with Thanksgiving/ Halloween crap. A little picking up in the garage. Wife and MIL like to just "set things" in the garage. Now on a repeat another bowl of the same in the same with coffee next up fill woodbox. Hope you all are having a good Sunday.

Nada. Too dang cold and windy out there. Not nearly as bad as Ed's neighborhood, but bad enough to keep this cowboy indoors. Also, it's snowing.

So similar to the Shalom pipes from Israel...from briar to stem, I wonder if there was some relationship between them both? Maybe it was just a great shape that produced great results. Dunno. It seems unlikely to me, but johnlawitzke probably knows. Nope no relationship between Paul's and Shalom. That looks like a Cristiano shape to me.
